Picky

Any other Momma's dealing with a picky eater? I sure am! Adalie, my almost 2 year old (on Thursday!!) is picky about textures and is not a fan of foods that contain protein. In a attempt to boost her calorie, protein and veggie in take I tried smoothies and it worked!! She is now eating raw spinach, broccoli, tofu and other healthy stuff without even knowing it! Yes, I am sneaky :)Oh and I enjoy the smoothies too. It's a quick healthy lunch for a Mom on the go.

Recipe:

1 cup Organic Vanilla Yogurt

1/2 cup Organic Whole Milk

1 cup Organic Raw Spinach (stems removed)

1 cup whole Organic Strawberries (frozen)

1/3 cup Organic Blueberries (frozen)

1/2 ripe Organic Banana

2 TBS soft Tofu

1 TBS Flax Seeds

1 scoop protein powder

***All measurements are approximate, I don't really measure. Just dump & blend***

Is that a recipe for one drink??? Would she drink that much "food" in one meal? That's a lot of food for a wee one like her.

Grams- This makes about 4 cups (2-3 servings). Adalie usually drinks about 1.5 cups and I have the rest :)

Perfect. I might try some myself. I think Papa would like it because he even likes Boost! But, we are "really good eaters"! We would probably drink that and eat, too!
